Now Lets turn to March,Do you guess What is Special Today.Which Banking giant have announced its Recruitment.Yes , you are right its RBI (Reserve Bank of India).

Today RBI, the banker of all banks have published its Recruitment Notification 2012 for the 1000 Assistant vacancies across its various branches spread across the length and breadth of India.Before applying online candidates are read to details given below and go through the Complete Advt. given at the end of this post.

Time line for RBI Recruitment Exam 2012


Dates for Submitting the Online applications: 1st March, 2012 to 25th March, 2012

Dates for Payment of Application Fees: 1st March, 2012 to 27th March, 2012

Eligibility Criteria: Those who wish to apply for Assistant Jobs in RBI must possess the below mentioned eligibility criteria.

  • Age Limit (As on 01-03-2012): Min: 18 years and Max: 28 years.

  • Educational Qualifications: Those interested to apply for Assistant Jobs in RBI must at least possess a Graduation Degree from a recognised University of India with 50 % marks in aggregate (Only For SC/ST/PWD candidates)

Selection Procedure for Assistant Jobs in RBI:


  • The Selection procedure for Assistant Jobs in RBI had two stages.In the first stage, candidates will have to undergo a Written Exam on 29th April 2012.
  • The Written exam is Objective test of 200 marks that includes sections such as Reasoning, English, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge,The weight-age of each section is of 40 marks.
  • Candidates are required to pass in all of the sections of the Objective test.After the Declaration of Results candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the Written Exam and will be called for the Second stage i.e Interview.
  • The Final merit list will be prepared based on the marks in the Written Exam and Interview.

Application Fees: An application fees of Rs 350/ will have to be deposited either through Online mode or by Offline mode.

A Good news for all those students who are waiting for SBI Clerk Recruitment 2012 is that SBI had announced the 8500 Assistant Vacancies in the clerical cadre.This Advertisement in already a modification  in the ADVERTISEMENT NO. CRPD/CR/2011-12/05 Dated 27.12.2012


Here are some of the Details of 8500 Assistant vacancies in the State Bank of India.Candidates must read the Details below for applying Online for Assistant Vacancies in the SBI

Number of Vacancies:  8500 (Gen-3145, SC-2069, ST- 1337, OBC- 1949).The vacancies listed there also includes those vacancies that were advertised in the previous SBI Clerical Advt for SC/ST/OBC.

Pay scale: Rs 7200-400/3-8400-500/3-9900-600/4-12300-700/7-17200-1300/1-18500-800/1-19300.

Probation Period: 6 months.Probation period is the time period during which the performance of newly appointed Candidates will be evaluated.If the Performance of candidates is satisfactory after the Probation period then HE/SHE will be regularised there by ending his/her probation period.

Eligibility Criteria: Interested Candidates who wish to apply for 8500 Assistant vacancies in the SBI must posses the below mentioned eligibility criteria.

Age Limit (As on 01.12.2011): Min Age: 18 years and Max: 28 years.

Educational Qualifications (As on 01.12.2011): Candidates must posses the below mentioned educational Qualifications

Min 12th Std Pass with 60 % marks (For Gen Candidates)  and 55 % marks (For SC/ST/PWD candidates)

A Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognised University of India. (Percentage in Graduation Does not matter) 

Additional Qualifications: Apart from the academic qualification mentioned above candidates must also
  • Have the ability to write and speak English Language fluently.

Application Fees: An application fee of Rs 350 (For Gen and OBC Candidates) and Rs 50 (For Others) will have to be deposited either by Online Mode Or By Offline mode in any Branch of State bank of India before the last date.
Procedure for Applying: Interested candidates who meet the above mentioned eligibility criteria can send their Applications Online by using the below mentioned procedure.

(I) Payment of Fees (Offline): Candidates who wish to apply with Offline Fee Payment method must fill their Online Application at www.statebankofindia.com. Candidates must carefully fill the Online Application form by following the On-Screen Instruction.After submitting the Online Application form, the system will generate a Fee Payment Challan.This Fee Payment must be printed and used for Payment of Application fee in the State bank of India.After the Payment of Application fees, the registration process is completed.

(II) Payment of Fees (Online): In this case, candidates are required to Submit their applications Online at the  www.statebankofindia.com. and deposit their Application fees Online by using VISA/Master Card/ Debit Card or Net Banking.After the Payment of Application fees the system will generate an e-receipt that must printed and preserved as a record.After Submitting the Online Application, the System will generate an Application form that must be printed and preserved till the final selection

9. How to Apply:
Procedure for depositing fee:
The challan for payment of fees will be made available at the Bank’s website
www.indianbank.in. Before depositing the fee Candidates have to take a print out
of the challan from the Bank’s website . The challan will be in duplicate and the
application fee must be remitted only in any of the branches of Indian Bank using
this challan.
For the purpose of locating the Bank’s branch address for remitting fees, applicants may
log on to our Bank’s website www.indianbank.in wherein provision is available for
locating address of the branches. Applicants are advised to type nearby town / city /
place in the space provided under “Branch Search” in the website.
For assistance in locating the branch in case of need, applicants may contact 044 2813
4064 (direct) or 044 2813 4068 CM (HRM) or 044-28134300 (Extn. 4780)
The following details must be filled up in both copies of the challan:
(i) Candidate’s name, (ii) Candidate’s category, (iii) Name and CBS code no. of the
Branch selected for payment, (iv) Date of payment and (v) Fee to be paid.
After filling up the above details, both the copies of challan are to be presented at the
branch, along with the application fee. After payment, the candidate must ensure that the
Deposit Journal Number generated by the Bank’s system is entered into the challan by
the officials at the Bank’s branch.
On payment, the receipt portion of the challan will be given back to the candidate
by the concerned branch incorporating the following details:-
1. DEPOSIT JOURNAL NUMBER
2. BRANCH NAME
3. BRANCH CODE
4. DATE OF REMITTANCE



SELECTION PROCEDURE:


Selection for the post of Probationary Officer will be based on the Total Weighted
Standard Score (TWS) in the common written examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in
Sept / Nov,2011 and the marks scored in the interview and/or Group Discussion. The
candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD will be given relaxation in marks as per
extant Government guidelines.
11. Interview and/or Group Discussion:
Depending upon the number of vacancies, the Bank reserves the right to call only those
candidates who have valid IBPS score in the stipulated common written examination
(CWE) for Interview and/or Group Discussion.
Call Letter for the Interview and/or Group Discussion:
Call letter for the interview and/or Group Discussion will be sent by e-mail to the
shortlisted / eligible candidates to the e-mail address given in the application form at the
time of applying for common written examination (CWE) in Sept / Nov, 2011 and/or will
be available for download from the Bank’s website.
Interview and/or Group Discussion Centres:
The interview and/or Group Discussion will be held at various centres and the address of
the venue will be advised in the call letters. The address of the venues will also be
displayed in the Bank’s website one week before the dates for commencement of
interview and/or Group Discussion.
